Carpet Cleaning - vacuuming in addition to carpet cleaning
We do commercial carpet cleaning and residential carpet cleaning. Our philosophy has been that carpets should be cleaned at least once a year and more depending on traffic. Our philosophy is that steam cleaning will remove dirt, grime, and grit from the carpet. But I have heard arguments recently that the carpet should be deep vacuumed first with a high performance vac to remove grit particles that cannot be pulled by the steam cleaning. Is this true and if so what is the source of the information? What vacuum equipment do you use to do this?
