Cleaning cleaning rags

I'm new to the cleaning business and am presently working solo. Is it typical to clean the business' cleaning rags in one's own washer & dryer? The cleaning rags I bring home are really dirty (I do one time cleans in addition to ongoing ones). I'm just wondering if others spare the wear & grossness of the rags on their own laundry machines by bringing rags to the laundromat. I'm thinking it may be pretty expensive though.

We use a lot of microfiber rags, we havent noticed anything negative. Although if they have a lot of Dawn in them (I use a lot of the stuff) it tends to get a soapy, We occasionally have to run them twice.

You should hire some workers under you to do this job.

We have been washing our microfiber cloths at home for more than 3 years and we haven't had any problems so far. I also worried about sacrificing the washing machine but in the end it's just too much time and money to go to the laundromat.
