A common Doubt

Do chemical drain cleaners harm the environment?

That is a darn good question. I have wondered about that myself. In fact, I just bought Liquid Plumber to do my own drains and wondered about. I do not trust the stuff written on the labels. The only thing I KNOW is true is to be super careful using it, and dont let kids or pets nearby when you do use it. Wear gloves, etc. Protect your eyes, too.

Trusting the labels is not a good practice and surely it will cause a negative effect.

As far as your question is concerned, I would like to say, that many chemical drain cleaners can clear a clogged drain swiftly, but it may have serious effects on the human body. It will not only provoke a reaction in humans, your pets are just as vulnerable. Therefore, it is advisable go for eco-friendly way. A better solution is contact professional plumbing services for nontoxic cleaning advice. Keep sharing.
