Giving Customers what they want
Yesterday I had a call after we experienced some severe weather - rain and wind. Rainwater was blown under 75 hotel room doorways and wet the carpets just inside . I suggested the maintanance guys take care of it with their portable but they wanted me to come out instead.
After checking the weather report m I told them we could expect rain and severe conditions the rest of the week. While I was there I also noticed several ddrains that were clogged up with debris that needed to be cleared.
Anywaym this morning they called me and told me that not only were some of the rooms wet again, but the Hotel restaurant was wet also - it is going to be raining for several days straight. I told them I could come out, but its going to get wet again. I advised them to sandbag around the outter walls , have their porty there ready to vac when needed and get their people to clear all the drains.
