Bar soap residue is annoying. Oh well though, at least I charge really well on my jobs, so I can't complain to much
I think telling them the benefits of soft shop will be better option. First thing you can tell is the hygiene factor, second can be bar shops always melts when come in touch with water but no such things happen with bottle shop, in this way they are saving lots of money

I am completely agree!!
I love a clean house and room, bathroom, everything clean!

But if you share the flat it is not always easy to have it! Specially when the other people don't collaborate correctly.

Any suggestion to make them change???

Thank you!

Very genuine problem this is. I too had faced a situation like this when I was living with my friend. She always used to keep the whole floor dirty. I don't have any idea how to make people clean. ha ha ha !!!

First of all you gotta realize... when I step in to a house for a bid, I act like I own the house. If I don't do that I have really bad anxiety... so I take charge right off.

When we are on the walk through and I see soap scum and a bar of soap I ask them this... do you know why bar soap does that? They usually say no. I say because it is made of lard... pig fat. Do you like rubbing pig fat all over your body? They usually answer... no. Then I say... that's why I don't use pig fat, I use soft soap... and move on. But it makes them think about it. Most of the time that alone doesn't make them switch... then after we clean a few times I tell them... you could have a clean shower for much longer if you would quit using that pig fat all over your body. 99% of the time it has worked within 3 times of bringing it up.

My least favorite room is kitchen! But now I am using cleaning supplies from a catering equipment company which designs products for commercial kitchen so I am pretty relieved because these are very effective!

Better

It is favorite song and dance [or sing] while you clean your room. You might look stupid but at least you're having fun. Friends are also a great help.

odd ball

HI there, I must be the odd ball in the crowd. I love doing the bathroom cleaning. But the nasty germs out of my mind and focus on the task at hand. If you think about it what shines the most when its clean? The clients generally judge the cleaning by the bathroom. I love getting the tub to shine and I don't have difficulty doing it. The only downside for me is when there is a shower wall of glass (not doors but when the room is a shower with all glass). But even that, a lot more work but well worth the pay off when its gleaming.
I would have to agree with Niki on the stove tops. Thats one job I am not fond of.
