Need help getting out a food stain from my carpet

My kids recently had some friends over the house and they by accident dropped some tomato sauce on my nice carpet. I have tried several different carpet cleaning solutions, such as weiman, hoover, etc. and the stain won't come out. I was wondering if anyone has advice on how to get this stain out. I'm thinking of deep cleaning my carpet and seeing if that will work. Any advice is appreciated!

I don't think you need to deep clean your carpet. I suggest you add a vinegar, baking soda and water mixture to your carpet and see if that works. I've had this similar issue before where I have by accident dropped tomato sauce on the carpet and it wouldn't come out. However, with some deep pressure and a lot of baking soda, vinegar and water the stain came out and my carpet looks as good as new.

deep cleaning is not the answer. the stain is not deep, it is stubborn. it may be set and not be able to be removed. you might need to sew in a patch if the carpet is not faded and discolored. Other wise you might be toast. You might need to re-arrange the furniture! Good luck with your cleaning.
