Post New Construction Cleaning Quotes???

Hi everyone! New to the forum. Hoping to get some help possibly. My twin sister and I have a cleaning contractor business in PA. We are looking to expand our business into new construction cleaning. Currently we have experience in residental cleaning and charge by the hour. We are looking for detailed information on how to quote a contractor for new construction cleaning. So far what I have read is to charge by the square foot. What is the best way to go about finding out the going square foot rate for our area? Or does anyone know the square foot rate that is commonly charged in Lancaster, PA? Also, should this include windows or should I be billing them seperately and at what price? Thank you in advance for your help!

i think most of us that would hire someone to do a final clean, would already have all the construction related debris out of there by then, and we are looking for someone to just clean the windows, floors, and anything else that is dusty.

We generally bid post construction work at an hourly fee, because the amount of work required can vary so greatly depending on the services required and the level of soiling that needs to be removed. Of course, this means that such quotes usually require an on-site visit by an experienced project manager who can estimate the number of hours required. You may have to "best guess" a few jobs until you get a good idea of the time required.
