Residential Maid Service here:

We use microfiber cloths. Less lint, streak free surfaces, and great on anything.
If we do find lint on glass or mirrors, we use swiffers to get rid of every speck in a few swipes.
A handheld vacuum is great for edging, stairs, dog hair, etc. No use lugging around a big vacuum and using the hose.
Microfiber flat mops. We do a ton of flooring in no time flat, changing out the mopheads frequently. No more mop buckets for us!
Barkeeper's Friend. That stuff works wonders.

Those are some of my favorites.

Our affiliates have found that...

we have found buying from a janitorial wholesale supplier to be the best source of dependable cleaning products while at the same time saving money, and increasing their profit margins.

Hi,

I use a company that has a one chemical cleans all. This stuff can be used in washroom areas, floors, desks, glass, stainless steel, carpet cleaning, pretty much anywhere. It also only costs 3 pence per 600ml bottle, which of course is very cheap. It is also environmentally friendly. You are all probably saying "What is the catch". I haven't found one as yet.

Cheap Cleaning

The company is called RJN Chemicals. The actual chemical is called Freshclean and comes in 7 different fragrances.
They are based in the UK.
These days companies and people will despatch anywhere. So only a catch if you want it to be!

What is a microfiber flat mop (I'm not in the business), and how do you use it ?
Same for Swiffers, what are they?

It's a mop with a flat panel on the bottom about 15 x 8 inches. You put a "cover" over it made of microfiber and change it out when it gets dirty. You just wipe over the flat surface with a flat surface and voila!
