Microfiber cloths work okay, but what I find works better are surgical cloths. They are cotton cloths (usually blue) mad to be lint free for the use in surgery. You can buy them from medical supply stores and from window cleaning supply stores. Most professional window cleaners use these.

To dry your windows you can use newspapers. This way you will not leave any water spots! This is a little bit old-fashion but it actually works!

That's the first time I've heard of the newspaper trick. Tried it on the insides of my windows the other day and it did the job just fine.

I use brushes to make my window clean. The corner places get dirt stuck in them so the brush cleaning help out then.

The tips are great, but could you offer reasons as to why to do these things?

Glad to see the old newspaper trick is still being passed down! My grandmother used to do it and I have told customers to try it before too! Sometimes the climate you live in effects what kind of cloth works best on your windows..squigees are always better in my opinion and are super cheap!

gutter cleaning

Window cleaningis a task that tends to get put off until the glass is heavy with hard water stains, dirt, calcium, and cobwebs. As a window washer with over 20 years experience our company has learned the best way to clean windows. Washing windows is a dangerous task and should be left to a professional windows cleaner. for more visit - guttercleaningdfw.com

Surgical cloths for washing windows

Hm, surgical cloths. I haven't tried them. What I always use is 100% cotton terry towels, but before I use them I wash them first to fluff them up.

Aren't surgical cloths expensive?
