I prefer store bought. Why? Because some of them (not all!) work great, smell nice and are not too expensive. My time is precious and I dont want to waste time mixing up concoctions to clean with. I have tried that route and did not like it.

You might be able to replicate the effectiveness of a store bought cleaner but I don't think you are going to improve on what commercial companies provide for kitchen cleaners. The money you will save will not be worth the time spent. Just buy it.

Well said. But also do some howework about the SAFETY of any product you are going to use often. We have to watch out for our own health, not only our customers, their children and their pets.
I will add something here. I firmly believe that responsible pros care about the safety of the products they use. Often, people forget that animals may react differently to something than a human would. Many of our customers have pets of all sorts and it is OUR responsibility to make sure no one, or no animal, is injured by our work.
