Should I supply the toiletries or should the client

HI all

I am really trying to research if I should provide a client's toiletries or should they be responsible for doing so?

Should I just order them and incorporate it into the client's billing statements? Or is it better to have the client to be solely responsible for this .

Any feedback would be appreciated :)

Thanks!

By toiletries, do you mean stuff people use to remove make up, toothpaste, etc?? Why would a cleaning company provide that? Maybe I just dont understand. In my mind, as house cleaner would NEVER provide this sort of thing. That is the customer's problem, as they probably have preferences that you cannot know about.

Now, if by toiletries, you mean cleaning products, that is another personal decision. I prefer to bring all my own supplies, because I KNOW they work. If a customer demands I use their stuff, I do, unless it is something harmful to me or them.

TC Cleaning......if your ? is pertaining to a commercial customer, then ask if they would like you to take on handling & ordering supplies for them for a small fee and possibly save the client some money on those supplies.
Amazon Business let's you use your Prime membership to order & have delivered supplies, chemicals. trash bags, etc. Amazon has a printable PDF format invoice that can be edited to add a markup, your company info.

Thanks BD Janitorial! I will have to look into that!
What I meant by toiletries was the Tissue, Paper Napkins, Soap, Seat cover, trash bag ETC, Sorry for the confusion!

Oh, okay! I think you would just estimate this and add it to your bill to them. Other people will probably have better ideas.

Hi,
You should find out from the client during the walk through if they would provide those things or should you provide them and add it the invoice. My client provide all of those things. I just provide the cleaning products.

YOu should set up an account for your client at a local supply house.Any paper products you pick up for that client would be billed to their account. There is no good way for you to estimate paper product usage.

Basic cleaning chemicals are on you.
