Shurflo plumbing

Hello to all! I've tryed some thing new (at least to me), I got tired of pulling 150 ft. of 3/8 chim hose off of my garden water hose reel (stored it on GWH reel to keep things neat and accessible), my new thing is, I plumbed the 3/8 hose (reducers )thru the garden hose reel. It works to a point, it sprays like normal for a short time 5 or 6 min. then looses pressure, possiably prime. the pump is a 1.8 gpm @ 60 psi . Do I need a 100 psi to make this work, or higher gpm and psi, or go back to pulling hose ? thanks Dan
