Smokey Smell?

I recently caused a small fire in my apartment during a spiritual cleansing. I was performing the ritual my apartment when I got distracted and left a bundle of burning sage unattended, which eventually made my rug and part of my couch catch fire.

Anyways, just wondering if you have any suggestions to get rid of the smell of smoke in my apartment.

I recommend cleaning all cloth surfaces. So your rugs, curtains, clothes, furniture, etc.
All of these items will hold the smell easily, where things like wood won't as much. So clean everything, or as much as you can, that is made of cloth in your home.

Also, wiping down hard surfaces won't hurt either.

But for furniture I would say you got to use an extractor to get that smoke out

I would recommend steam cleaning of carpets, curtains and upholstery and a good clean of the whole property. Ventilate as often as you can.
