One of my favorite tips to get blood out is to let it dry and use a rust remover - Works most times like a charm, something about the iron in the blood.

I have just read a tip how to eliminate a gum from carpeting. There are two methods, the first one is to lock up the gum and then you should try to eliminate it with some distinct item or a blade. The other way is the other one, you have to warm the gum to burn and then to eliminate it.

I like this one: "To stop ants entering your house, draw a chalk line on the ground where you want them to stop. If you live in a rainy area where ants are a problem, you must re-draw the chalk lines each time it rains."

Who would have thought of that?

There are two ways, the first one is to freeze the gum and then you should try to remove it with some sharp object or a knife.

How about this one? -
"Remove dirty or greasy fingerprints from painted walls or non-washable wallpaper by rubbing the area with a slice of white bread."

The list mentioned in here by the auto to clean carpet is really amazing. I have tried most of them to clean my carpets at home, however, several of them are new for me which I am going to try next time.
