Washing oily clothes

I have a brand new front loading washing machine and I don't want to ruin it. It says not to put oily clothes in it. My hubby works on oil furnaces as a service technician and his clothes can get pretty grubby. Will I ruin the machine by using it for washing his work clothes? I always used my top loader without problems.

It says not to put oily clothes in as a safety precaution because oil never really comes competely out and it could become a fire hazard...the oil could also transfer to future loads.. My dad is a mechanic and he sends his clothes out to be washed by a specialty company...my mom would kill him if he stuck his stuff in the washer :)

The reason not to put oily clothes in a front load is because the last rinse water is partly reused in the next load. And honestly, the water you use in a front load today has remnants from washes of long ago. It's just the way it is set up. Even a top load always has some water left over but the front loads have a LOT of water left over.

I owned a used appliance business and we always had washers torn apart repairing them. Another thing to remember.... used front loads are VERY hard to work on and the parts are very high priced, even for repair guys. We quickly learned to not mess with front loads. Too much trouble and cost too much to fix.

A Polo shirt is a classic casual and comfortable shirt for men. It’s a more relaxed style of shirt, which has been found to be perfect for the summer months and cooler seasons. The conventional color of the best polo shirt has always been white but with the passage of time, designers have introduced other colors as an alternative to them in order to make it more attractive as compared to traditional colors.

You can use your front-loading washing machine for your husband's grubby work clothes, but it's important to pre-treat oil stains, use hot water and a suitable detergent, avoid overloading the machine, clean the machine regularly, and consider washing his work clothes separately to prevent potential oil transfer and to maintain the machine's efficiency and longevity. By following these precautions, you should be able to keep your washing machine in good condition while effectively cleaning your dirty clothes. https://ioniasports.com/
