Anyone here done any postcard mail outs?

I have done several postcard mail outs using EDDM for my landscape business with mixed results. Just ordered 2500 postcards for the cleaning business and plan to try it out.
For those who have done it, any tips are appreciated. Did you target higher income housing or middle class? Higher property and housing values or mid range?
What has worked best for you?

From talking to other cleaners, higher income homes are better as they are the type of repeat customers they want to have and don't always haggle on the price.

I was just on another forum where they were talking about this exact question and they said they did better in the high income areas with their EDDM, which is the opposite of what I would have expected.

Post the design here so we can critique it if you like. And I just thought of something: older people appreciate larger print, so postcards are better than business cards.

Post cards work well for my pressure washing business. I would suggest starting by sending them to past clients and then maybe move on to something bigger like an EDDM (every door direct mail) campaign.
