spell check

David,
No offense but on your website it should be "restrictions do apply", not due. Also, it should read "break in" not brake in. Also, you've served the community for 3 years but cleaned for 6 years. Why weren't you serving the community for the first 3 years of cleaning?
Just want it to look good for you.

backlinks can be created in signature lines, submit to web directories, write blog posts, write articles, exchage links with other websites.

And, as I posted before, you may want to rethink your google adsense. You are advertising your competition.

One of the better ways is to post on blogs and threads. They pull higher than just having a backlink.

go to google, type in your industry, like mine would be carpet cleaning. then, click more, then discussions, next try blogs. those two clicks will bring up a TON of sites for you to link from

Backlinks are the only thing that matter for seach engines. You should try and learn a little yourself and then maybe hire some freelancers. You should check out Elance.com and they have guys over in INdia that will do work for a meseley 2 dollars an hour which should be fine

Don't be so sure about that. Search engines also pay attention to the traffic and popularity of the website. If people don't like it, they won't get into it

That is completely NOT true. Google will look at the bounce rate of your website and it makes a little difference. And your statement does not make sense. Just because you can pay someone two dollars an hour does not mean it isnt quality. You are obviously posting in this forum for your anchor text in your sig. I could pay someone two dollars to do what you are doing.

Well I guess you found one spot to post your backlinks. The trick is to make sure you have something to contribute before dropping your link. If you dont have anything to say then dont post anything. Good comments stick, spam gets deleted.

Places you need to post backlinks

Forums, Blog comments, articles with a link back to your website, make youtube vids with them in your description. You need to have good on-site seo on your website as well or most of your backlinking will be for nothing. Do keyword research so you know what keywords are worth targeting.

Basically you need to know what your doing instead of just posting links all over the place. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) takes some practice and some knowledge.

Backlinks

yes, there are whitehat ways to do it and there are blackhat ways to do it. I think there are pros and cons against both.
