E-mail Marketing

Hi all

I am thinking to do some e-mail marketing trying to generate e-mail address from local companys here in Sydney Australia.

Has any one tried e-mail marketing? And what wording did you use?

Regards,

Pomba

If your looking what wording to use I would recommend doing a search on the internet for something like "business letters" or "sales letters". I did that a while back for myself. They said something like 4 paragraphs is the optimum size. Also, be careful who you send the email to, and dont spam everyone in the company, or your wont get any replies.

not sure if it will work as posted, but it's from the cleaning association download section.

Face to Face

I have found that the telephone is much better at getting business. That is how I acquired my first customers, started with the A's... actually AAA was one of my first clients.

E-mail doesnt do much, its easy but nothing. I will try a sale e-mail for those who didnt take our services to see if they will bite on a % off the original bid......

The trick with email marketing is that you've gotta be very respectful of people's time.

Don't buy spam list. If you're going to send unsolicited emails, send them to people who've at least shown interest in your company at some point.

Make sure the emails are high on quality content, and low on sales. Offer things for free with no strings attatched. Make people want to read. The goal is to build a relationship.
