Email Marketing

Whats a good subject line to email prospect? I am asking if they would like a quote (in other words). But I would like a great subject line so they actually OPEN my email.

If you figure it out please pm me the answer. That way I can make BILLIONS selling it to people that want their email opened. Don't be confused with it selling anything, it won't sell but there must be a way to get people to open it before they trash it.

The odds of email marketing working is slim to none.... maybe less.

Hello.. Just to let you know, I stuck with a the basic subject line : Janitorial Service

And I personalized the email as much as possible to include the persons name if I could find online, and I am already seeing great responses. Here is my email below:

Good afternoon _______,

Would you be interested in receiving a commercial cleaning quote from us? If you were thinking of changing your cleaning company, I would love to stop by and introduce myself. Then provide you with a cleaning quote, at your convenience of course.

In the mean time, if you would like more information about our services, please visit our website here: www EdmontonOfficeCleaning com. As well, you can call/email any time.

Best regards,

I did email marketing when I had my cleaning franchise. I sent out about 250 emails. I only got 1 account from it. I now know why. Nobody else wanted it. lol

I did get a lot of responses from post cards.

Depends. If you can afford it. Send out new fliers to about 30 SMALL business in your area. Start small. Stay away from big name franchises. Make a nice flier that's basic and to the point.

Add a coupon to it. FREE window wash (15 windows outside) with this coupon. FREE commercial/residential cleaning quote, No obligation or contract or hidden fees. . One coupon per business/ household.

Now your getting your foot in the door. You might think the rest of cleaners- I don't work for free. Well then good luck.

Some of those people might give you a tip. Some might refer you to another business. Sometimes you have to give to receive.

Think about it.

It Can work: Anything Can Work

We use email marketing for follow-ups, selling, marketing and general customer communications.

These are all WARM leads. They have either used our services in the past, or have made some sort of contact via our website or social media.

Writing a good headline to get opens and clicks is a matter of doing A/B tests based on your demographics and your audience.

Industry average open rates are only about 3.4% however through testing headlines over the past couple of years, and I still test, we have managed to average a 25% open rate.

Being friendly and to the point really helps. Make sure the title matches the actual info in the email otherwise your click rate will drop.

There is tons of info on conversion rate optimization online...

Co-Schedule also has a headline optimizer tool that is free to use.

Here are some I thought of off the top of my head. Feel free to try them:

Are your kids playing in a dirty home? - We can help.
Embarrassed when guests come over? - You might need a home cleaning.
Got dirt? - Don't worry, we'll take care of it.
When was the last time your home got the attention it deserves?
