Feedback for Website!

Hello Everyone! I just finished my website and I was hoping to get other peoples perspective and ideas for improving it. Please visit and let me know what you think! (It feels like something is missing on there to me)

www.sparklinggreen.biz

Thank you!

thank you! I think the next additions I'll make will be a blog and maybe some before and after pictures of cleaned rooms.

I ended up changing it, I wanted it to have a more professional look. I really am in love with how it looks now.

When you change it, the Home and about us page now runs off the green.

Thumbs up

Lovely, although I am seeing the same issue - the text runs off the background. I'd also consider making the text at the top a bit more readable... to my eye, I'd say that having a handwritten style text with green on green might be tough for some to read.

Also note that shades of green can be very difficult to discern for those with the most common type of colour blindness... it may not seem important, but 8% of males cannot see colours like you and I. That's a pretty good segment of your customers.

Stick to high contrast wherever possible. (My 2)

eehh, doesn't scream at me at all. Colors in the header are too close on the color wheel and you can't really read what's going on. You definitely need to get some photo's on there.

GL and keep us posted!

we've been using a site called feedback roulette to get feedback about our website, and it has been really useful. We have tended to get similar feedback from most people and are now making changes as a result.

I never did list the prices on my website. Everyone got charged differently.

To each their own though.

Hi Nik,

I'm not sure, but is that a response to my website? Whether you list prices on your website depends upon what you are selling and what market you are selling to. With cleaning there is a justification that every place you visit is different and therefore needs quoting up slightly differently. We are selling the same product to everyone, want a low touch sale and so it makes sense for us to put prices up there.

Hi Tidy,

Basically its a form of anonymous peer review process. You post your website on there - you can specify what you want people to look at - for instance, I ask, "Is it clear within the first few seconds what Malinko is for? Can you briefly describe to us what you think it is used for and who would use it?"

In return, you are asked to review other people's websites. You don't know who reviews your website and vice versa. They have a reputation system, so if you give poor quality reviews (you can say a website is not very good, but give constructive criticism) you will get a poor reputation.

Similar tools using mechanical turks (a phrase I've only recently heard of - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazon_Mechanical_Turk) are:

http://fivesecondtest.com/
http://www.domainpolish.com/

but I've not used those, so can't say what they are like

Casino lovers would like this website: http://www.vlsroulette.com/index.php?topic=20719.0 . It is good website for online users. They can enjoy the gambling from their home also. So gamblers have fun with roulette.
