Keeping in touch with customers

Doing a great job and providing outstanding service is important, when you want your customers to remember you but people have short memories. Even if you do the best job they have ever seen, they might not remember you, six month down the road. Here are some things that could help you stay fresh in their minds.

Promotional items: Anything you leave behind, at the appointment, can help you stay in their minds. You can leave them a custom label spotter bottle, fridge magnet, spot cleaning guide etc...

Thank You Cards: A thank you card is just another way to leave a strong impression. Not only will they appreciate the thought but they will be more likely to recommend you.

Postcards: By sending out just 2-3 cards a year to your customers, you will be reminding them of your good service. When they are ready for the next carpet cleaning, you will be the one they call.

Newsletter: A monthly e-mail newsletter is a great way to keep in touch. We have our customers subscribe, so we are not marked as spam.

I'm hoping to implement a monthly newsletter in the near future.
I'm planning on hiring someone to write a monthly series and then send them out myself using mailchimp.

Customer feedback is so very important. The ideas to get feedback are great. It is also very important is that once you have the feedback, you should do something wiIt it!

"Constant Contact " is a great, easy to use web-/email based newsletter. Well worth the monthly subscription fee!

I think getting emails and doing a coupon in it is very beneficial. Tell them they can send referrals to their friends to use the coupon.
