Newsletter for your customers

How many of you send out a monthly newsletter, printed or e-mail?

We've been using Mail Chimp to send out our newsletter, via e-mail. It is subscriber only, which is good because I won't just send it out to contacts or prospects. Our subscriber list is constantly growing.

We use Facebook, Twitter and Google+ to promote it.

Nice newsletter, articles that pertain to the customer, pictures to sustain interest and even your own carpet spot remover - Nicely done!

I have been thinking of putting together a newsletter recently for our commercial cleaning clients as well as to potential prospects that we either submitted a proposal to previously or would we'd like to do business with. Looking to see if anyone else has a positive experience with newsletters to the commercial cleaning sector and what sources you use for your newsletter.

Newsletters have been one of the main sources to bring visitors to the website via promoting right offers and content to them, which can hopefully convert into a lead and customer to that particular business. It is highly recommend every website should have newsletter option, so that users can subscribe to it.

I did newsletters once a month but at that time the internet was just coming around and it wasn't my goal to drum up customers. How many NEW people does a newsletter drive to your site a month?

We send out Newsletters once sometimes twice a month with promos and what not through email and fax. It's been our main driver for years now. We are trying to promote through social media but the results aren't relevant enough for the moment.
