Newspaper Advertising

One of my biggest leads engines was the local newspaper we had in Clermont. I know that this isn't true in all areas but I thought I would show you an ad that worked well for me and maybe others could share too?

This ad ran at a 1/4 page size and appeared weekly. I think it worked because it was attractive, had a good amount of contrast, and stated what we did in bold letters across the top.

What has worked for you?

BTW, before someone says it. This ad probably needed a better call to action but it seemed to work non the less.

In my neck of the woods newspaper ads and yellow pages do not work as well. Most of our customers look for us and find us online. We are less than 10 miles for the heart of Silicon Valley and here everyone is wired ,or should I say wireless

Wow, I wish I had that. When I was in Central Florida almost nobody looked online for painters. Most were retired and didn't even have a computer.

I would kick some tail if I could count on online leads

Print ads have been totally worthless for me. It takes too many repeat ads to finally get results.

Looking back on this thread I have to agree with George, alot of my callers say that they saw the signs (lettering) on our cars and trucks while driving in traffic.

I have not had good results with newspaper ads except the inexpensive one in the classified section.
