I often wonder.....

Why do people come to a cleaning site and ask for SEO or marketing or website help?

Not once when I was learning SEO did I come here to learn about it. I just think it's odd......

I didnt come here either or any forum to learn SEO, but I think for people that don't know, i assume they want what we've learned without having to hunt for it themselves. IMO unless you take the time to learn it,vs being told what to do, youll ALWAYS be in here asking for advice

While I agree, normally if they are too lazy to look for it, they probably won't last long anyway. Not to mention, in order to do things correctly, one must stay in tune at a minimum every month and it doesn't hurt to stay in tune every week or every day.

I have a sign right here by my desk..... Hard Work Pays Off Later. Laziness Pays Off Now.

And that's usually all we get out of laziness is to not do much right now. It rarely accomplishes much.

I think people with cleaning businesses particularly those that are just starting up want to know how veterans do SEO. I honestly think asking someone what to do isn't very helpful at all when it comes to SEO. It needs lots and lots of research to just to understand the tip of it. I still don't even fully understand how it works.

Learning SEO from forums is not quite possible but some people may have a general idea, especially if they just start their business...

It would make just as much sense to go to an SEO forum to learn about the cleaning business wouldn't it?
