Gutter Cleaning

I wanted to share some light on gutter cleaning.

We have countless of customers, who contact us because they have had to pay costly water repairs which are very expensive due to their gutters being blocked and clogged.

We strongly recommend getting your gutters cleaned at least 2 a year to avoid any damages done to the foundations of your house

Gutter cleaning is a task that needs to be on your list of annual house repairs and maintenance. There are many simpler tools that you can help to clean your gutters such a broom stick, a garden shovel and many more.

To start with gutter cleaning, you need to first scoop away debris left on it. By this I mean the dry debris. Take a hose and run water in high pressure. The left over dirt will be washed away. When you find that the water doesn't drain out freely, start cleaning the drainpipes. For areas with continuous rainfall, a stiff, scrub brush can be used to loosen the dirt and the remains can be washed away with water, in a similar way. Finally, the downspouts should be checked for rust, peeling paint and flaking and should be rectified.

Gutter cleaning

I agree gutters should be cleaned once, maybe even twice a year.

Cleaning gutters is a critical task that can prevent future water damage. A splash block is a very important element. It keeps the water coming out of the downspouts from digging a trench next to the house, and it keeps water away from the home's foundation. In my opinion, you should consult a professional company for that, as they provide various ideas for your needs. Thanks for sharing.

I think gutter cleaning is necessary because it will eliminate all debris from your gutters, leaving them as new. It protects your gutters from debris blocking up downpipes damage your property.
