Thanks for sharing all the information on how to clean the roof of your home. But what I feel is that different methods are needed to clean different types of roof tops. The weather conditions also play a very big role on how the roof should be cleaned. First and foremost you should have the information regarding the material used in the roof, only then should you decide the treatment it should be given to keep it clean. Letting a professional play a part in cleaning in the initial stages is a good idea as he will give you all the information regarding the roof.

Treat the clean roof with an inhibitor to prevent the mold from returning.
Usually lasts 1-2.5 years.
Retreat the roof every year or 6 months for regular cash.
Win win for the customer and the company.

Yeah, Luke good point on bagging the downspouts, Sh will leach way out into a yard and kill the grass. I've heard that it actually sterilizes the soil for some time not allowing grass to regrow. Be sure that you take the time to address this important measure before cleaning a roof.

Roof cleaning chemical is the best way to clean any roof. It's applying procedure is very simple, just spray on the roof and leave it there until the next rain. Hope this helps.

Cleaning roofs can be a daunting task. It is always good to approach professionals for roof cleaning. Angies Janitorial is the best as they bring all their equipments along with them for a cleaner roof.

Roof cleaning is hard. You need stairs to climb up and clean every nook and corner. There is always a fear of falling down. Keep these things aside and hire professionals. I have done the same and my roofs are clean now.

Always get references. Preferably from people who have had their roofs cleaned a month plus ago. This way, you will know if the contractor caused / created leaks in your house. The best way to clean a roof is to use a roof cleaning chemical and let it sit. With most good cleaners that are all you need to do. Just spray it on and leave it. It will rinse off the next time it rains. Thank you for sharing all of these it is very informative.

Send a message via Yahoo to Edinburgh Gutter Cleaners
You could also use oxygenated bleach and explain to your customer how much more environmentally friendly it is than normal bleach.

Fantastic post you have presented here. If your roof has been damaged from mold, mildew or water, I think you should immediately call a professional water damage restoration company to provide you with restoration services. Many people are very aware of the black stains that often appear on roof tops. In order to clean the black stains off of the roof you will need to apply the right cleaning solutions. There are many DIY solutions that people swear by. Some of these include bleach, hot water, soap, and other chemicals. Before applying any type of chemical or cleaning solution to the roof check with a professional, your shingle warranty, and test it on some spare shingles that you may have or you can buy.
