Ran into this not to long ago. Customer had a car in the driveway when we were doing a roof cleaning and no one was home to move it. We didn't want to pay for a new paint job so in a case like this, I highly recomend keeping the vehicle, boat, motorcycle, lawn tractor or anything else that can not be moved... watered down just like plants when doing a roof or house wash.

Todays friendly tip of the day!

Once upon a long time ago, when we were out Cleaning Roofs In Tampa, a guy had an old, non running truck in the driveway. He told us not to worry about roof cleaning chemicals getting on it, so we started spraying. I heard a loud BOOM, and climbed off the roof to investigate. The Love got on the hood of the car, found it's way to the battery and blew up!
Seriously!

wow! What a story....Just goes to show the importance of having a ground man. They are our eyes on the ground when we are on the roof!

We just completed 15 apt exteriors in Tampa that are on a 6 month rotation. We do the other 15 in 6 months and so forth...

Last cleaning the nicest car on the property was black polished chevy tahoe, all done up etc. Well the wind must have been moving around the building because we had some spots.

I left the project googled a local detailer, purchased him a very high end detail and boom no complaints to the pm..Handed him the gift cert and he was a happy camper.

Gotta watch the wind when you are roof cleaning Tampa building and homes.

Yes it does, and in a strong, concentrated Tile Roof Cleaning Tampa FL solution, it can explode when mixed with battery acid.

I am not a chemist so I do not how SH reacts with battery acid and will not pretend to. I do know that SH is a base & battery acid is the opposite. As an ex electrical engineer I do know that if SH is on the battery between the "+" & "-" terminals it will short circuit the battery which will produce heat due to the amount of current being drawn and the battery will explode for being over heated.

I will leave the theory to others Marcus, I just know it went BOOM when we were Cleaning A Roof In Tampa.
Brake Fluid and SH do not mix safely either
