question about switching to green products

Hello,
My school is switching this year to green seal products. All they bought was green seal wax and stripper as far as I can find out.
Our problem is that with the shortened, summer break, summer school going on during almost the whole break, plus the general teachers changing rooms etc, we do not have the time to strip every single floor in the building. Some areas we will only be able to do a deep scrub and re-coat.
Can we put zinc free wax over the old zinc waxed floors after performing a deep scrub only?
Our vendor wants us to strip every single floor, but this is not realistic with the amount of time constraints placed on us this summer.

Your vendor is correct. You'll have to strip all of the floors first. Sorry : (

ahhh nuts. This makes me think of another question. will we need to use traditional stripper, or will the green stripper remove the old wax?

Smile Service Cube Indianapolis

There is a variety of Green Seal Certified cleaning products on the market that are affordable and cost effective. Many commercial cleaning companies already carry these brands in their inventory and will use them in place of chemical cleaning agents upon request. Rather than purchasing these ready-to-go green cleaning products, cleaning techs can mix and develop their own holistic solutions. Many people replace vinegar and lemon solutions in place of potent surface cleaners and floor cleaning solutions. They work just as well when it comes to cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing.

Service Cube is a commercial cleaning company that provides a wide variety of facility maintenance and cleaning services in Indiana. We believe in unparalleled quality assurance, environmental awareness, and sincere customer service. Contact us today at 1-855-899-2269 to learn about our commercial cleaning company in Indianapolis, IN.

good idea. I would rather switch out harsher chemicals for vinegar and lemon juice solutions. Makes good sense.

If your school really wants to go green try talking them into getting a boost machine. Gets up wax with no stripper. Works great on most floors.

Its always a problem of cost. Many admin like to switch to green seal products on paper, but in reality it is not always cost effective. Therefore hard to get approved.
