vtc in bad bad shape help!!!!!!!

Whom ever maintained this floor put coats and coats of chunky dirty wax, its a black and teal color floor, I put my stripping solution on her and machine scrubbed, this crap wont come off, the old coats of wax wont come off please help

Hi mark, sorry to hear that you are expericening difficulties. My first question would be what stripper are you using? (brand name) and my second question would be - are you allowing enough dwell time to allow it to do its work?

Are you using it at the stongest dilution and with a black pad for agitation? If that does not work you may have to bump it up to the Johnson diversey pro-strip or try another brand altogether.

Read the stripper directions and follow the instructions. If it says dilute with cool or cold water, use it. Hot water speeds the reaction and will make some strippers useless.

If the "wax" is not softening, most likely it is not floor finish you are dealing with.

I noticed some 3m dry sripping aresol cans in the cleaning closet maybe they used a different type of wax, I followed instuctions on my products perfectly
