New to the forum, from Chicago
Hello, I am a young entrepreneur (age 25). My mother started her own cleaning company in 2007, and I became her company's administrator (basically doing the bookkeeping, website and online marketing, scheduling, customer service, office duties), doing everything from home. Business has being going good. For the past years, it has helped us make ends meet and able to afford paying our house mortgage, bills, etc.. She is the main maid, and has 2-3 helpers/workers (1099-Misc).
Since she started her company as a sole proprietor, I decided it was time to change the name of company, and start it as a corporation. I incorporated a few days ago, so waiting on getting a new EIN, and begin setting up the new company with new website, and system. Our goal now is to increase profits by contracting new cleaning workers to work in groups, so I can delegate their routes and appointments, and my mom can become a quality control manager, and train the new workers.
Hope for the incoming few years to significantly improve our business and take it to the next level. Looking forward in networking and sharing experiences and being influenced by you guys.
Pardon for the long introduction.
