New guy here!

Hey guys, I'm new here. I'm a pigeon control man in Phoenix, AZ. The reason i joined is that one of our special services that sets us apart is the solar panel cleaning that we do. It's one thing most people never think to do, yet it's very important, especially to protect such an expensive investment. I'm hoping that in this forum I can connect with some of the best in the industry and gain knowledge and insight about new and better methods for cleaning... even if nobody here cleans exactly what I do-- solar panels.

We do everything from clean-up of poop on the roof and around/under the solar panels, to then installing netting, mesh, and spikes to prevent the pigeons from ever coming back. It's actually a big problem out here in Arizona. The funny thing is when we pigeon proof a home, a lot of times the pigeons simply go right next door and start roosting on the neighbors house!

Now, that REALLY is a niche market! I do know pigeons can take over a town. We had them in Washington DC when I was a kid. They can and do make a big mess. Good for you, finding this area of cleaning.
My niche market is different. I publicize my love for cats, because cat people know some cleaning people dislike dealing with pet hair, kitty litter, etc. People hire me simply because I do like cats. And when they go on vacation, guess who does the kitty sitting?? Me. Works out well all around. I havent figured the numbers out, but I would guess that right now, about 80% of my regular customers have a cat or two.

Hi! Now that's an interesting job you have there! I also deal with pigeons on my roof and it became a regular routine to clean their mess.
