New Member-Seminole Florida
Hello group, We have a small business that maintains four separate offices and warehouse locations in Mid Western Florida. Our duties are to clean, stock, and repair any and all as needed. We have at each location riding floor scrubbers for the concrete floors in warehouses. Three of the four machines are the Betco DRS26. One of these 3 machines is about eight years old. Outside of regular maintenance and a new battery from time to time, I have had few problems...until now. One of the rear wheels began to have a lope/bump when riding and finally the rubber broke and peeled off. This machine sat for awhile and now the other two tires are cracking and falling apart. This is not happening to the other machines. these replacement wheels currently range from $320 to $450 each depending on supplier. My question is in two parts. One, does anyone know what would cause the rubber on these wheels to deteriorate so rapidly while the other machines are doing fine? Two, does anyone know where to find discount or aftermarket wheels for these or a service that rebuilds the wheels.(re-rubber the rims)?
