I am just starting the window cleaning business. I am not sure of a few things. First of all when I do a home that has storm windows do
I remove the storm window or not. These are made so you can not
clean the top original window without doing so. Also I am realy not sure how much to charge. Do I charge by the window or an hourly
rate. I am not sure how long it takes to clean the windows. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS
Rose

Here is California we do not have to deal with storm windows, however my guess is that if you have to remove them in order to clean any part of the actual window that you should charge extra for that.

Charges should be per window and size, if you charge per hour you will never make any money once you are good and can move quickly thru the job.

I am just strating the window cleaning business for an extra income.
If I do residential and the home has storm windows do I remove the
storm windows in order to clean the original top window on the outside.
Also, do I charge a hourly rate or do I charge per window. What is the
going rate, I do not want to overcharge.

THANKS,
Rose
