Hello to all!
Its a pleasure to meet each and everyone of you.
I am considering the cleaning industry as a semi new path in life and I am sooooo very thankful to have found this site.
Just a brief background: I am a 1/2 wed mother of 5 children, 3 of which still live at home. For those of you that don't know what 1/2 wed means lol its my terminology so I wouldn't expect you to know
it stands for not yet married but doing all the work a married couple does including folding the underpants lol and plus I absolutely dislike introducing my other half as my boyfriend and after all we have been together for 17 years btw John my other half will be my partner in crime and along for the ride for this adventure and he is the father of my half grown children
but hey we are not procrastinators lol no not at all.....
I am looking to earn an extra income on the side so I got with a friend that was in the commercial cleaning business for many years and I have been doing some research for the last few days pondering the idea and looking into what all it Intel's. I use to work as a professional cleaner when I lived in Texas and was stirred away from that line of work when I moved from there. Seems cleaners are not in much demand in Missouri or atleast not in the area I live in. Years later I landed a job as a housekeeper at a local nursing facility and all the memories started flooding my brain. I just recall truly enjoying cleaning and I truly think it will be a great way to earn some extra cash on the side. I just find such a great satisfaction in performing the work and I often find myself asking why because I have not ever met anyone that likes to clean like I do but I just simply can't put my finger on it but at the end of the day I am not worn out and I am not stressed out and I love the idea of everything I touch being clean. weird but true very very true
I have owned my own retail business so I have an idea of what it takes to manage and operate a daily business. I am looking for tips and tricks of the trade and just simply people that I can socialize with. Therefore I just want to say thanks for allowing me to become a member and I am so very thankful I found you!
PS....I am considering office cleaning and possibly moving on to banks, real estate and small businesses.
