Great tips, but I'm sure you can add some more information!

My best friend just had a baby, and she's my age. So I'm a godmom now, which is crazy. grin:

No matter how well you take care of your bathroom, it won't look clean if the shower doors have a cloudy coating of mineral deposits. These deposits are mainly composed of lime scale, otherwise known as calcium carbonate, and if you've tried to clean them off with soap and water. you know that this approach is futile. You need something that dissolves lime, and you don't have to look far to find it.

The solution is. Wet cleaning of the limestone tile. To clean limestone, all you need is a bucket of warm water with a couple tablespoons of soap mixed in. Gently mop the stone floors, or wipe other surfaces, with the mixture. Take your time on this step, and allow ample time for the soap to break down the filth.

Sorry but that dopesnt make sense, at least to me. Ordinary soap doesnt seem to do a good job cleaning glass shower doors. This subject has been discussed many times. Make is working best for me (but I am not all that satisfied with it-) is a mixture of viegar and lemon juice plus water. I spray it on and let it sit for a while while I do other things. Then I wipe that off using a magic eraser or ordinary foam sponge. Then I use glass cleaner.

If anyone out there has a better idea, please speak up!

I agree with you! The soap isn't tough enough to get the soap scum/hard water minerals off the doors. I'm actually confused by the reply as it starts with stating shower doors but then switches to the limestone. Maybe something was left off a bit.
