Eco Definition

I am selling a range of carpet cleaning shampoos that are listed as "eco". From what i read, eco means not harmful to Earth. But then when you go to read what it is made from, there are 100 chemicals in it. Na2, na1g, blah, blah. I asked my supplier to provide me with data sheet, they did, but data sheet is even more complicated. Full of complicate words. I get nothing from it.

My customers are asking me to bring evidence of "eco" and i haven`t got a clue how to do it.
