Pricing

Since I will be hiring employees to handle the cleaning for me, can somebody offer any advice on how to calculate an hourly rate? I’ll be charging a flat rate but I want to make sure I have taxes, supplies, insurance, labor and profit built in correctly.

I was thinking $10/hr for employees, maybe $12 for a supervisor. The insurance quotes I got are around $600/yr. Not sure what what % to allocate for taxes, supplies, advertising, profit etc.

What’s the formula to calculate this?

Hey Quality Services,
I don't have an answer for your questions, but I do have a question as a result of your post. Who have you reached out to for insurance? I'm starting a cleaning company and the insurance quotes that I've been receiving have been anywhere from $700 to $950.

It seems your having a little better luck than I am.

Thanks for the information.

I did get a quote from them and it was very favorable. Thank you for your reply.

Did you ever get an answer to your original question?

Best of luck!!
