Bidding a Theater

Hello all,

New to this site and looking for some knowledgeable advice. My company has done strictly final cleaning for the past two years and this will be my first full time janitorial job to bid.

Rough Specs:

8 persons, 6 hrs per night, 365 days a year. Vacuuming, Bathrooms, Mopping, Windows. Roughly 30,000 sq. ft.

I plan to bid 7 persons @ 15/hr and supervisor @ 30/hr. Paying 11/hr and 15/hr for supervisor. Is that a reasonable mark up?

Also, I've never had to write up an official proposal. Do you know of a good source covering this?

Any advice on the pricing or other general suggestions will be much appreciated.

- Clint

janitorialstore dot com they have official forms there
or IJCSA

I'm not sure, you might have to register and become a member there in order to be able to download the forms.

I usually include cover letter, specs, certificate of insurance, bond certificate, references.

Theater get pretty messy with the popcorn and all. some of them are easer to clean using a leaf blower. blow it all to the bottom then pick it up.
