Cims cert

Hi All

I was doing some research online and I am curious to know at what point would I seek and CIMS cert? Is it best to obtain this at the start of the business or once its off the ground? Do I really need it?

HI Missannienow

CIMS applies to management, operations, performance systems, and processes. Compliance with the Standard demonstrates an organization is structured to deliver consistent, quality services that are designed to meet the customer's needs and expectations.

I think once I get my company going then I will get CIMS certified. The cert can be used as a selling tool to gain more clients.

"ISSA" is an Accreditation Institution" that ensures a company is up to cleaning standards once it certified. ISSA issues the Certification and some clients look into companies that are CIMS certified to be sure they are getting some legit.

you can also google CIMS if my explanation is not clear

Oh, THANK YOU! For once, a clear answer to a question.

I do not need such a thing, because my business is so small. I have no plans to expand it, either. Heck, I am 67 years old! I clean because I like to, and like making other people smile. And to make extra money, of course. Social Security is hardly enough to live on now. I take a lot of pride in my work, and that is exactly why I do not want employees.

Thank you again for explaining.
