I understand the attraction of having a website for your business. So many businesses have one but I don't think that a cleaning service needs one at all. Everyone likes the idea of potential customers calling them and making the initial contact with you but
there is a way around all the expensive advertising that is more effective then a full page ad.
Simply make direct contact with the decision makers. The direct way is the best way! Walk in cold off the street, use letters, phone calls etc.
Nobody gets hired without first meeting the decision maker in person. Similar to applying for a job as an employee. It must be in person and you first must get your paperwork in their hands just like an employment application. Your bid or service agreement
comes first and one thing always leads to another. You should always say that, "you would like to submit a competitive bid for you to keep on file because things change". Things do change and having your estimate in their hands will keep you in the right place at the right time. Take the first step of making contact with these decision makers and build up your own list of potential customers to keep in touch with. You don't need to pay for any expensive advertising when you make direct contacts with the right people to begin with.
