Commercial Equip - What are the "Good" Brands?

Hello everyone,

I'm a Tool maker and CNC machining programmer by trade, but as i'm sure you all know, manufacturing is heading down hill fast, and as such i have been left unemployed. My wife and i are eager, and very interested in getting a cleaning business up and running. It has been our goal since before we even got married, and now seems like a great opportunity. My father in law has his own commercial cleaning company, and i am Currently i am helping for a couple of weeks, to gain what experience i can. (he does not live in same city - 2+ hours away)

If you were to ask me as far as machining goes, what tool brand names are good, and what ones are junk, i could list you the "big 3" that are what you want to buy.

I have a buy quailty, and buy once attitude.

When it comes to Autoscrubbers & burnishers, i have no idea what is considered a desireable brand name, and what brand names are "cheaper" or "junkier" and to avoid.

So my question to you... what are the brand names that have proven themselves the best for quality of equipment? I would very much rather buy a good brand name, than buy cheap and make a mistake!

Mainly looking for commercial equipment - Auto scrubber & burnisher.. also what sizes + lbs scrubbing pressure should i look into for starting out with one machine of each? A good "all around" size i guess if you had to pick just one to use. (obviously it changes based on job, but i'm meaning what is a good first size to get... not huge and not tiny i'm assuming, somewhere in between?). I would also want enough lbs of pressure in my auto scrubber for stripping correct?

I want quality equipment that is going to last.

Thank you!
