The company needs serious help
I work for a fortune 500 national corporation where one part does concrete floor maintenance (which I am a part of) for various clients. We have been loosing contracts left and right and within the past 3 months 2 of our offices shut down with mass layoffs. One reason for clients dropping contracts is that we have not been hitting the required numbers for shine. We use scrubbers and 27" propane burnishers with 400, 800, and 1500 (we are out of 1500, and the company will not order more, giving any number of excuses), and this unmarked soft white pad (that no one really knows what it is) burnishing pads. We are able to get a decent shine on floors that use the Consolideck brand Guard, but on the floors which are densifier only nothing that we can think of bring the numbers up and get a decent shine. So now the immediate problems are what are some things we can do to make densified floors "pop" and where can we find some decent 1500's that are not too expensive (we used to use Twister and Trifecta pads)? We are getting desperate, my shop may be next on the chopping block.
