Question Hours of operation?

Just wondering....do businesses often request that the cleaning be done during certain hours, or is it most often left up to the cleaners? Reason i'm asking, i'll likely be coaching my daughters soccer team next spring, which will take time on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights, until about 9PM. I don't have a problem cleaning, say, 9:30P to midnight....I just didn't know if most business owners would frown on those hours. Any insight??

If you can't feed 100, feed just one.

I am sure that most business don't mind. All they want is a clean office in the morning. If you just let them know - I am sure that they won't mind.

I agree with Mighti. I dont think it matters that much. Cleaning during the night is an option, but my advice is to talk to the business owners in advance. You may have to reschedule the trainings...

I would have to agree with everyone here. I don't think it would be a problem. The only issue you may run into is whether or not they have an alarm system that needs to be set, in which case you should only need to be given the alarm code and shown how to operate the alarm system.

I think you are correct. For examples we are among Rug Cleaners Manhattan business owners, our customers are only concerned about a clean office the next day when they come in the office.

Many of the businesses we pressure wash want the work done before/after hours, and I would think interior cleaning would be the same way. Utlimately, each individual customer is going to let you know what they prefer (or need) for the scheduling of cleaning services...

I always insist on getting a key and cleaning after hours. I have had customers want me to meet them when the business closed up so that they didn't have to give me a key (I would lock the door from the button on the inside and then exit after I was done) but it starts to become a real hassle when you have a full schedule to be in a certain place at a certain time.

Most business cleaning is done in the evening or after the business closes. I agree that most business owners want to return in the morning to a nice clean office. Ensure all carpets are dry before leaving the office so that there isn't a future problem with water damage or black mold growth.

I agree some customers want their office clean in the night so that they will sit in a clean office in the morning. So you can charge little bit more than usual after all you are working at night.

best hour in cleaning is early in the morning before you open up, and in the evening when you close. this will maintain the cleanliness in your area.

Always mention that you offer Emergency Cleaning Services you can pick up some extra cash showing up to a job at odd hours! People pay much more for those type of cleanings.
