Post How do you price a commercial building just starting out your buisness?

Im in the process of starting my own cleaning buisness and have no clue what i would or should charge for commercial cleaning. I also want to do some residential but not many because I don't have a lot of extra time due to the fact that I have a 1 year old I'd like to spend as much time with as possible. Any suggestions or tips are greatly appreciated! Thank you!

pricing commercial

In order to answer your question, I will need to know what part of the country you are in. We are in California.... the Bay Area. What we charge will depend on the square footage of the areas to be cleaned. Commercial can be an on going thing, meaning you would set up the job to clean each week or each month... whatever. Large apt buildings with many apartments to clean each month is based on how many bedrooms. 100 for studios 110 for one bedrooms etc. but on these we will also fix problems with the carpet at no extra charge except for water damage. The more area to clean the cheaper the price. 10000 sqft could be as low as .12 per square foot. 5000 sqft could be .20 per sqft. All residential customers would pay as much as .65 per sqft for anything from 1 to 250 sqft, We have a $100.00 min.
Really you have to base your price on your area competition and your cost of solutions, insurance, payroll, advertizing, and more.
Your job is to stay in business so that your customers can rely on you to be there to take care of them in the future.
