Prepare a bucket of warm water and squirt in a dime-size dollop of dish washing liquid. Or, try one of these homemade cleaning alternatives to get the job done—they work just as well as soapsuds or any other industrial-strength cleaners.

Get a couple of microfiber towels, those things have done wonders for my business. No streaks, no water marks, nothing! Highly recommended from the bay area!

Try washing windows with a squeegee and I bet you'll never go back to a spray bottle ...

I don't know of any homemade solutions, but I always use coffee filters when I clean windows with smudges or streaks. I always use a diluted ammonia solution, I especially love the ones in aerosol cans.
