Office Cleaning Pricing ?
Hey guy I'm new to the forums. I'm in the researching stages of getting my office cleaning business up and going. I've been currently looking at rates some of you all are charging. After taking it all in and thinking about some ways I could charge, this is a rough draft if you will that I came up with. All opinions and criticism will be accepted. As I said I'm still learning and trying to feel this out.
Charging by the job is kind of more the way I'm leaning toward. Here are a few scenarios:
up to 1000 sqft - $30 3x week. 4 weeks/mo. $360/mo
1000 - 2000 sqft - $40. 3x week. 4 weeks/mo. $480/mo
2000 - 3000 sqft - $50. 3x week. 4 weeks/mo. $600/mo
3000 - 4000 sqft - $60. 3x week. 4 weeks/mo. $720/mo
and so on and so fourth. Each 1000 sqft would take it up $10 a job. I kind of want some kind of set scale that I could use and say this is what I charge take it or leave it. I know some jobs will vary a little but just as a starting point this is what I came up with.
Do you seasoned cleaners think that this is a reasonable scale and would be beneficial to myself and the customer? Or do you think myself or the customer would be getting the bad end of the stick? I'm looking for any and all input, as I stated above all critisim is welcome. I'm more or less looming for a good starting point.
