Removing old wax from painted baseboards?
Here's one for the wax junkies out there:
I landed a pretty nice strip and wax job today, and as I was leaving, the owner of the place asked me how one goes about removing wax from baseboards. I immediately got sweaty-palmed on this one, as the baseboards in question are painted. Anyone who has ever had to work with stripper around anything painted knows that's a crap shoot, right?
Some paint reacts to it, some doesn't.
He wasn't able to tell me what kind of paint it is, so I don't even know where to start trying to figure out how to handle something like this. Anyone have any ideas?
