Service agreements new construction cleaning

Hi everyone,
I need some advice / help, I have won my first new construction bid and now i'm stuck what comes next, do I give a service agreement or do they? When do I get paid when job is complete or when contractor gets paid? I'm so excited but it's very scary since this is my first win. any useful info would be greatly appreciated or if anyone has any service agreements I can see if that is what I need. help please thanks

Niannie,

First, congratulations on winning the bid! As for a service agreement, you should provide that so that you can dictate the terms of the agreement and what services you will provide at certain intervals. Normally, with new construction cleaning, you may do a cleaning after framing, another after drywall or rough interior finishing and a final thorough cleaning prior to the new owner moving in. How you get paid for those services is up to you, however, I would probably ask for a 50/50 payment, with half being paid at the mid way point and the remainder after the job is complete.

Good luck!
