Small supermarket

Hey guys,

Did a walk-thru of a small supermarket this morning. Total square footage is 18k. Supermarket is 12k. Offices etc. is 6k. They would like it done 3 days a week.

1. Sweep and mop all floors which include isles, hallway leading to back of the house. This ventures into the freezer, then down about 25 steps to 6k area that has hallways and 2 bathrooms.

2. No dusting of the isles. Just removal of excess peanuts left over from dispenser.

3. Trash

4. Most of the facility has concrete floors which they would like buffed "every once in awhile". There are some rug areas, but the largest of that area is the community room.

I figure $1625 without the buffing of concrete and $1870 with the buffing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your time!

Would you put both your guys in it or just 1? How many MAN hours do you think it will take them?

What is your rate that you charge per man hour?

Also, what is $1625.... per day... per week... per month?

Per man hour - 31

2416 is monthly.

Went over it again and I wouldn't be making any profit if I charged so low. And with only 3 days a week I'd expect it to be more dirty. Sweeping and mopping the isles will be time comsuming.

Thoughts....

$31.00 per hour for a supermarket would be quite the awesome achievement! Sounds great and keep dreaming! Guessing they will be looking to pay less than $1,000.00 per month.
