Smoke damage cleanup work is quite typical it involves different kinds if threats depending upon the degree and level of damages. Smoke and soot risks involved in working an area that has been damaged by fire can not be denied. When working in a fire damaged area you must wear protective clothes and masks in order to protect yourself from any kind of risks.

Hi Alexa007,

Quick question what would be the best way to remove cigarettes smoke from plasterboard? Had a quote today and the place just was full of the cigarette smoke smell for a lack of a better term. Any ideas or tips?

Problem of smoke can be solved by setting up of ventilation ducts which can be done afterwords also with cross-linking ducts. Other than that agency should be referred in the case of any major problems.

Use an odour neutraliser to remove smoke smells from your home. ONA odour neutraliser was actually invented by a firefighter who developed the technology they had for the every day consumer. More information here
